ground.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Some are yellow.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Some are brown.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Some make a lovely crunch beneath your boots.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>But listen.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Plop!<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>What was that?<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Bran hops closer.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>There, beside the leaves, is a little acorn.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>It has fallen from the oak tree above us.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Look at its smooth brown shell.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>And look at the little cap sitting on top.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>It almost looks like a tiny hat.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Bran tilts his head.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>An acorn wearing a hat?<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>He likes that.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Very much.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Another leaf tumbles down beside it.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Slowly.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Round and round.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Until it lands with a soft rustle.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The acorn doesn't move.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Perhaps it's happy where it is.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Let's leave it beneath the tree.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>One day, an acorn like this might begin to grow.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>But today it is simply something small we found together.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A brown acorn.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A crunchy leaf.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>And Bran, hopping beside your boots.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Crunch.<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Bran looks down.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>That wasn't the
